quick update because i’m kicking shark week’s ass:
i didn’t give in to drinking anything OR eating last night at my brother’s leaving party. i was worried for that—i sometimes get in the, “everyone else is doing it, so i want it now” mindset when it comes to social eating, but i stuck to my water with lemon and was just fine. i ate dinner beforehand and was pleased with my willpower.
today i had 3 meals, two of which came from jamba juice because much like jared and the subway diet, i apparently am on the jamba juice diet, and they were good. boyfriend and i went to dinner and i got a salad that i love—it’s got shrimp, crab, tomatoes, and tons of other fun stuff—and again just had water.
we might go get froyo tonight, which will be better than eating the leftover chocolate cake from my brother’s party [which unfortunately looks amazing]. i need something like that to help keep the period cravings under control, but all in all i think im doing well with not giving in to shark week.
tomorrow i run, so i’ll update before or after…or both!
